The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data to support the NRWA’s mission of providing safe and reliable drinking water to rural communities. The Data Analyst will work with a variety of stakeholders, including program managers, staff, and external partners, to use data to improve decision-making and program outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and clean data from a variety of sources, including internal databases, external data sets, and surveys.
- Analyze data using Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate to identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
- Develop and create data visualizations, such as maps, charts, and graphs, to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Work with program managers and staff to identify data needs and develop data-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis techniques and technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new things and adapt to change.
