About Hawaii Rural Water Association

The Hawaii Rural Water Association (HRWA), a state affiliate of the National Rural Water Association (NRWA), is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that maintains the rural water initiatives at a local level in the State of Hawai‘i and the Pacific American Territories. The HRWA formally organized in December of 2010 and provides training and technical assistance for rural water & wastewater community systems largely through its federally funded programs: USDA RD, FSA, and EPA. All programs are a free service to Hawai‘i’s rural utility systems to utilize to ensure quality and safe drinking water.
